Here’s why we think you should make the move too. [Try Picflow for Free](/auth/signup) **4.5** based on 150 Reviews ## A quick summary Acquia DAM is a powerful enterprise platform suited for organizations with large, diverse asset collections and complex metadata or workflow requirements. If you need to manage hundreds of thousands of files, enforce rigorous metadata standards, or integrate asset management deeply into a larger marketing tech stack, Acquia DAM provides the configurability and scale. It excels for big teams and product-driven brands that demand robust governance and analytics on asset usage. However, this depth can be overkill for individual creatives or small teams. Picflow, by contrast, is lightweight and purpose-built for creative teams to share proofs and gather feedback quickly. Picflow requires minimal setup and offers an immediately intuitive client review experience, whereas Acquia DAM may require administrative configuration and user training to fully unleash its potential. In short, choose Acquia DAM when enterprise integration, customization, and scale are top priorities (and you have the resources for implementation), and choose Picflow when you need a simple, out-of-the-box way to showcase work and get approvals without the complexity. We hope your search for a better SmugMug alternative ends here. ### The Ideal Picflow Customer *** You're creative or work in a marketing team.** *** You regularly collaborate with clients and colleagues on creative media.** *** You care about improving your workflow and streamlining feedback in one platform.** ## Unique Features ![Picflow Logo](/_astro/circle-picflow-icon.CrJAxzQ5.svg) [![Acquia DAM Logo](https://cdn.picflow.com/web/32x32/170df3c191/acquia-dam.svg)](/compare/dam/acquia-dam "Acquia DAM") ### Essentials Feature Requests ### Feature Requests Is an important feature missing for you?
